DigTek is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS app WonderScout - daily adventures that get you exploring the world, not screens.

• Time spent in-app or mission duration data
• Camera or microphone access logs

Your Discovery Data Privacy

Everything you create, discover, and document in WonderScout - from mission completions to photos and reflections - is stored exclusively on your iPhone using Apple's secure SwiftData framework. This information:

• Never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it
• Is not backed up to our servers (we don't have any)
• Is not accessible to us or anyone else
• Is protected by your device's security features
• Cannot be read by the app developer
• Remains private even when using sharing features

How Your Data Stays Private

• Local storage only: All data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework
• No internet required: WonderScout works completely offline for core functionality
• No third-party services: We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking services
• No account creation: No sign-ups, logins, or user accounts
• No cloud sync: Your discoveries never leave your device
• Zero dependencies: No external libraries or frameworks that could compromise privacy

Mission System Privacy

WonderScout's daily mission system operates with complete privacy:

• Mission choices (Discover vs Create) are not tracked or recorded
• Mission completions are stored locally only
• The rotation of 71 missions happens on-device with no external input
• Your mission preferences and patterns remain private
• No data about which missions you complete or skip is collected

Documentation and Content Privacy

When you document your discoveries through photos, text, or reflections:

• All content is stored in your device's Documents directory
• Camera access is only used when you actively choose to take photos
• Text reflections are stored locally using encrypted device storage
• No content is transmitted off your device without your explicit action
• Your documentation remains under your complete control
• Mission prompts that inspired discoveries are stored locally with your content

Philosophy-Driven Sharing

WonderScout includes sharing features designed to inspire exploration rather than showcase results:

• Sharing happens using Apple's standard share sheet
• You control where shared content is sent
• We do not receive copies of shared data
• Sharing happens directly from your device to your chosen destination
• Shared content includes the mission prompt to inspire others to explore
• Focus is on sharing the journey, not just the destination

Permissions and Device Access

WonderScout requests minimal permissions only when needed:

• Camera: Only accessed when you choose to document discoveries with photos
• Photo Library: Only accessed when you choose to select existing photos for documentation
• No location, contacts, microphone, or other sensitive data access
• All permissions are requested transparently when first needed
• Permissions can be revoked anytime through iOS Settings

Anti-Screen-Time Design

WonderScout is designed to minimize screen time and maximize real-world engagement:

• App usage sessions are designed to be brief and purposeful
• No engagement metrics, streak counters, or addictive design patterns
• Mission delivery encourages putting the device away
• No notifications or attention-grabbing features
• Success is measured by real-world exploration, not app engagement

iCloud and Device Backups

If you have iCloud backup enabled, your WonderScout data may be included in your personal iCloud backup. This is managed entirely by Apple according to their privacy policy, not ours. We have no access to this backed-up data.

Third-Party Services

WonderScout uses only Apple's built-in frameworks such as SwiftUI for the interface, SwiftData for local data storage, and AVFoundation for camera access. These are Apple's own services and follow Apple's privacy practices.

Children's Privacy

WonderScout is designed to be safe for all ages and is especially valuable for families seeking screen-free activities:

• No data collection means no special privacy concerns for children
• All missions are designed to be appropriate for curious minds of any age
• Parent supervision is always recommended for young children
• No social features or communication with strangers
• Focus on real-world exploration with family and friends

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to provide access to, correct, delete, or transfer to other services. Your privacy is already completely protected by design.

You maintain complete control over your discovery data through:

• Local data ownership on your device
• Sharing capabilities when you choose
• Ability to delete the app and all data at any time
• No lock-in to external services or platforms
