DigTek is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our macOS app Photo Sandwich.
Photo Sandwich is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. The app runs entirely offline — it has no network access. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data.
What We Don't Collect
- Personal information such as names, email addresses, or contact details
- Usage analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind
- Your photos, RAW files, or any image data
- Your blends, blend recipes, starred variations, or export history
- XMP sidecar file contents or metadata
- Device information or technical specifications
- File paths, folder structures, or filenames
How Your Data Stays Private
- Everything is local: All blending, rendering, and export happens on your Mac
- No internet required: Photo Sandwich has no network access and works completely offline
- No third-party services: No analytics, advertising, or tracking services
- No account creation: No sign-ups, logins, or user accounts
- No data transmission: Nothing leaves your Mac unless you explicitly share it
What Stays on Your Mac
Photo Sandwich reads and writes the following, all stored locally on your disk:
- Photos and image files you open as a base or overlay
- The double-exposure results you export (JPEG, TIFF, or PNG), written next to your source images
- XMP sidecar files recording the blend recipe under the
sw:namespace, stored alongside your base image in open, industry-standard format. Sidecars are only ever updated, never created from scratch, and every other namespace is preserved untouched - App preferences, starred variations, and window state
This data never leaves your Mac. We have no access to it.
Apple and the App Store
Photo Sandwich is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect information related to your purchase and download according to Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive anonymized, aggregate sales data from Apple — we cannot identify individual purchasers.

If you contact us by email at developer@digtek.app, we will receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not add it to any mailing list or share it with third parties.
Children's Privacy
Photo Sandwich is suitable for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there are no special considerations for users under 13.

Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how we handle data (which is unlikely given our no-data approach), we will update this policy and notify users through the App Store.
