DigTek is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS app M43 DoF.
M43 DoF is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data.
What We Don't Collect

- Device information or technical specifications
- Location data or access to your location
- DoF calculations or camera settings you enter
- Your lens collection or ownership data
- Shot notes or photography documentation

How Your Data Stays Private
- Local storage only: All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults
- No internet required: M43 DoF works completely offline
- No third-party services: We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking services
- No account creation: No sign-ups, logins, or user accounts
- No data transmission: Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly share it
What Data Stays on Your Device
M43 DoF stores the following information locally on your device only:
- Your preferred DoF calculator settings (focal length, aperture, focus distance)
- Which lenses you've marked as "owned" in your personal collection
- Shot notes you create (lens settings, results, and personal observations)
- App preferences and interface settings
This data never leaves your device and is only accessible to you.
Sharing and Export Features
M43 DoF includes features to export your shot notes and share them via iOS sharing options. When you use these features:
- You explicitly control what gets shared and where
- Data is only shared when you actively choose to do so
- Sharing uses Apple's native sharing system
- We have no access to or control over what you choose to share
iCloud and Device Backups
If you have iCloud backup enabled, your app data may be included in your personal iCloud backup. This is managed entirely by Apple according to their privacy practices, not ours.
Third-Party Services
M43 DoF uses only Apple's built-in frameworks such as UserDefaults for local data storage, Core Haptics for tactile feedback, and SwiftUI for the interface. These are Apple's own services and follow Apple's privacy practices.
Children's Privacy
M43 DoF is suitable for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there are no special considerations for users under 13.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to provide access to, correct, delete, or transfer to other services. Your privacy is already completely protected by design.
